〔Abstract〕 To analyze the clinical data of 362 patients with acute cerebral infarction who underwent mechanical thrombectomy. Cardiogenic embolism was the most common type according to the trial of org 10172 in acute ischemic stroke test(TOAST) classification. The internal carotid system was the most frequently involved. According to the modified rankin score(mRS), there were 157 patients in good prognosis group(mRS≤2 score) and 205 patients in poor prognosis group(mRS≥3 score). There were significant differences in age, hypertension, vascular involvement, national institutes of health stroke scale(NIHSS) score at admission and discharge, postoperative pulmonary infection and intracranial hemorrhage between the two groups(P<0.05). The risk factors for poor prognosis were advanced age, involvement of vertebrobasilar artery system, high NIHSS score at discharge and postoperative pulmonary infection.
