〔Abstract〕 To explore the risk factors of recurrence of idiopathic generalized epilepsy after drug withdrawal. 96 patients were divided into relapse group and non relapse group within one year after drug withdrawal,The relevant factors were statistically analyzed. Female, abnormal electroencephalogram( EEG) for the first time, abnormal EEG after discontinuation, seizure frequency>5 times/year,withdrawal time≤6 months, combined medication were all related to risk factor for relapse after drug withdrawal( P<0. 05). Female, abnormal EEG for the first time, abnormal EEG after discontinuation, seizure frequency>5 times/year,withdrawal time≤6 months, combined medication( P<0. 05) were independent risk factors for relapse. The risk of relapse after withdrawal of antiepileptic drugs is affected by many factors,so it needs to be evaluated before withdrawal of antiepileptic drugs to reduce relapse.
