C-Myc regulates the effect of lncRNA NEAT1 on the proliferation of oral cancer cells

〔Abstract〕 Objective To clarify the positive correlation between C-Myc and the expression of long non-coding RNA nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1(lncRNA NEAT1), and to explore how C-Myc regμlates lncRNA NEAT1 proliferation of oral quamous cell carcinoma(OSCC). Methods High-throμghput sequencing technology detected the expression of lncRNA in OSCC cells with knockdown of C-Myc, the expression of lncRNA NEAT1 in OSCC cells with overexpression and knockdown of C-Myc, overexpression and knockdown the proliferation ability of OSCC cells of lncRNA NEAT1; glycolysis stress detection experiment detected the glycolytic metabolism of OSCC cells overexpressing lncRNA NEAT1. Results The results showed that if C-Myc was overexpressed or knocked down, the expression of lncRNA NEAT1 showed an upward or downward trend. Overexpressing or knocking down lncRNA NEAT1, the proliferation ability of OSCC cells showed an upward or downward trend. Overexpression of lncRNA NEAT1 could increase the glycolysis level of OSCC cells. Conclusion C-Myc can increase the glycolysis level of OSCC cells by regulatinglncRNA NEAT1, and promote the proliferation of oral cancer cells and the development of oral cancer.
