On December 6, the Propaganda Department of Anhui Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) issued a circular, after strict qualification examination, expert assessment, quality review, results of the publicity and other links, by the Propaganda Department of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Education, the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Association of Science and Technology to carry out jointly the first Anhui Province, science and technology journals "ten best" series of selection of the announcement of the results of the University hosted and Our university sponsored and directly hosted journals "Journal of Anhui Medical University", "Chinese Journal of Disease Control", "Chinese Pharmacology Bulletin" stood out among many journals and won the title of "Top Ten Science and Technology Journals".  

The Publication Centre of the university adheres to the correct orientation of public opinion and publication direction, takes keeping the correctness and innovation and unity of double effect as the standard yardstick of publication work, adheres to the development idea of periodicals of "tamping down the foundation, walking steadily and making a great progress", improves the construction of the system constantly, and adheres to the rules and regulations of editing and publication work according to law. At the same time, we will continue to strengthen the effectiveness of the editorial department and build an excellent team with excellent skills; we will continue to cultivate the academic connotation, improve the level of running the journal, and steadily push forward the "Action Plan for the Excellence of China's Science and Technology Journals" and the construction of English science and technology journals, so as to strive to create a new situation for the high-quality development of journals in the university.  

According to the results of China's scientific bibliometric evaluation, four journals hosted and directly undertaken by the university, including Journal of Anhui Medical University, Chinese Pharmacology Bulletin, Journal of Clinical and Experimental Pathology, and Chinese Journal of Disease Control, have been successfully selected as part of the "World Journal Clout Index (WJCI) Report 2023", and were ranked in the Q3, Q3, Q4, and Q3 areas respectively, which has fully demonstrated that our university journals are in the international academic field, and have been ranked in the top three journals in China. This achievement fully demonstrates the influence and competitiveness of our journals in the international academic field.
