〔Abstract〕 Objective To probe into the synergistic mechanism ofCurcumaelongae RhizomaandPaeoniae RadixAlba in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis(RA) by network pharmacology. Methods The active components of the drug pair and predicted targets were collected from TCMSP public database and literature. The “drug-component-target” network was constructed by Cytoscape 3.7.1 software. Disease targets were obtained by searching “Rheumatoid Arthritis” in GeneCards, OMIM and CTD databases. The PPI network was built in STRING database, and the GO function annotation and KEGG signal pathway enrichment analysis were performed by ClueGo plugin. The drug-component-target-disease network of the pair was constructed, and the network feature analysis was made by network analyzer of the Cytoscape 3.7.1 software. Results Totally 13 components and 445 potential targets in the pair and 2 060 targets relating to RA were excavated, and 53 common targets of the pair were anti-RA targets. The top three targets were AKT1, TNF and PTGS2 in the PPI network by degree. The GO function annotation was 225. KEGG pathways of anti-RA target fromCurcumaelongae Rhizomawas 28, whilePaeoniae RadixAlba was 74 which they shared 24 pathways in conmmon. Conclusion Curcumaelongae RhizomaandPaeoniae RadixAlba may regulate AKT1, TNF or PTGS2 so as to antioxidise, inhibit the inflammatory response, regulate immune function and adjust apoptosis to treat rheumatoid arthritis synergistically.
